5th membership meeting and the Blind 50/50 shoot have
been canceled because it is Easter Sunday.

hours of 9am to 6pm are in
50 Yard Range will be closed on each Saturday where

as it is being used as part of a Club Shooting Event.

Eddie Eagle GunSafe Program used
at Myrtle Creek Elementary.
The South Umpqua Rod
and Gun Club contacted Myrtle Creek Police Chief; Don
Brown today (10/30/2012), to thank him and his officers
for their use of the NRA's Eddie Eagle GunSafe Program
at Myrtle Creek Elementary School yesterday. They
used the Eddie Eagle program during the safety training
program they present at local schools. Chief Brown
stated it was in partnership with our Douglas County
Sheriff's Office. We have extended our thanks
to Sheriff John Hanlin and his officers.
